‘I'd love to work again with Shimit Amin'

Your wishlist for directors you would like to work with?
I would love to work with Shimit Amin again. Directors like Imtiaz Ali, Vishal Bhardwaj complete my wishlist.
How do you keep yourself fit and in shape?
I start my day with yoga and exercise regularly.
Do you think that Chak De! India has typecast you in a certain mould?
You would be surprised to know that none of the roles that have been offered to me till now have been similar to my character in Chak De! India. In fact none of my new films are even remotely related to sports.
Does a newcomer benefit by professional training?
I think learning acting is definitely beneficial but it should not be considered as the benchmark of a good actor. I believe that actors are not born and that learning definitely helps in improving acting.
Are there any roles that you would love to essay on screen?
Well, I am just too new in the industry to be identifying with particular kind of roles. I am open to all kinds of roles and having got the best possible platform with Chak De! India, I want to use the opportunity and continue doing some good work in future.
